In this Talk Infusion webinar, we discuss various outcome measures that reflect the quality of a home infusion program. NHIA will provide an overview of the NHIF outcome data programs and how to use the data collected. Standardizing the definitions for data variables gives validity to the findings, and by standardizing what is collected and reported, it can be used externally across the industry to measure quality. We will review what NHIF is collecting, learn about Brightree tools for submitting your data to NHIF, and how to participate in NHIF data programs. Software automation can facilitate participation in NHIF benchmarking by automatically generating the reports using patient and related data already captured in the system. Hear from Brightree about how they are automating the processes to facilitate participation.
Discussion Topics:
- Top outcome measures reported in US health care.
- Best practices for good measurements.
- NHIF data programs and integration with Brightree and other third-party systems.
- NHIF Standard Definitions related to outcome measures.
