Brenda Gray, a pharmacist for over 25 years, is Owner and Senior Pharmacist Consultant for Clinical Pharmacy Partners, Board of Director/President-Elect for VACC, past Board member for Canadian Vascular Access Association and National Board Nutrition Support Certification. She has served as a pharmacy and nursing accreditation surveyor, educator and consultant. Her professional career has been complimented by multiple publications and presentations internationally including recent publications on subcutaneous infusions, home parenteral nutrition and conducting online research She has board certification in nutrition support, vascular access and sterile compounding. She also served as a leader on the guideline development group for Infusion and Vascular Access Guidelines for Canada. Lisa Kinder is a registered dietitian, maintains certification as a nutrition support clinician, and has worked in the home infusion setting since 2004. She is a clinical nutrition program manager at Optum Infusion Pharmacy. Her current role focuses on training and education programs for clinicians providing home parenteral nutrition. She is passionate in the areas of safe parenteral nutrition initiation in the home setting and the prevention of refeeding syndrome. In her role at Nutrishare, she leads national nursing strategy and clinical education initiatives, supports quality improvement efforts, and contributes to the development of clinical policies aligned with industry standards. Her work includes participation in interdisciplinary infection prevention programs with a strong emphasis on patient safety and the reduction of central line–associated bloodstream infections (CLABSI), while promoting consistent, high-quality nursing practice across home infusion settings.
Elena is active in professional organizations including ASPEN, NHIA, and INS, and contributes to the field through national presentations and educational initiatives. Her recent work includes the development of educational tools focused on central line complication recognition and escalation, designed to empower patients and caregivers to make informed decisions in the home setting. In recognition of her leadership and contributions to nutrition support nursing, she received the ASPEN New Practitioner Award in Nursing in 2025.
