Johns Hopkins Home Care Group
Mitra became Vice President of Pharmacy Services the for the Johns Hopkins Home Care Group (JHHCG) in 2017, bringing together all aspects of post-acute, home and community based pharmacy and infusion under one organizational structure. Mitra is responsible for streamlining pharmacy offerings in the home and throughout ambulatory footprint of the JHM. She is responsible for integration and standardization of infusion services as the chair of Infusion Therapy Oversight Committee for the Johns Hopkins Medicine. She also oversees compliance with 340B requirements and chairs 340B operations committee. Mitra is currently serving as a member of the NHIA Board of Directors and previously served on the Maryland Board of Pharmacy and Maryland Society of Health Systems Pharmacies as President and Board Chair. Mitra is a proud graduate of the Howard University College of Pharmacy (2001) and has held many different roles within the JHM since 2003.
