From Assessment to Action: Effective Documentation for Healthcare Teams - Live 7/16/2025

Includes a Live Web Event on 07/16/2025 at 12:00 PM (EDT)

As a heathcare professional, you've probably heard the phrase, "if it wasn't documented, it didn't happen." With multiple EMR platforms and clinicians providing care within an organization, it is crucial that assessment findings are documented and communicated.   This session aims to provide learners with an understanding of their critical role in assessment, documentation, and communication strategies between interprofessional team members.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify common deficiencies in clinical documentation.
  2. Verbalize the importance of documentation and the consequences of poor documentation.
  3. Describe strategies to communicate documentation between interprofessional collaborators.
