I am the Nurse Manager of the University of Rochester Home Infusion Pharmacy, with 30 years of nursing experience—27 of them at the University of Rochester. My expertise spans various areas of oncology, and I am currently pursuing my doctorate. I also educate nursing students at Roberts Wesleyan University, fostering a passion for evidence-based practice and lifelong learning. Nursing has been my calling, and I encourage students to continue their education and seek innovative approaches to care. Outside of work, I am proud to have three children, one of whom has followed in my footsteps as a nurse.

Kelly obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 2025 after completing a Bachelor’s of Science and Arts in Nutritional Sciences. Prior to her residency, she gained experience in home infusions as a pharmacy technician where she developed an appreciation for ambulatory care and specialized pharmacy services. Kelly chose to pursue a PGY1 with KabaFusion because of its longitudinal ambulatory care focus and strong emphasis in transitions of care and nutrition support.

Lisa Kinder, RD, CNSC

Lisa Kinder is a registered dietitian, maintains certification as a nutrition support clinician, and has worked in the home infusion setting since 2004. She is a clinical nutrition program manager at Optum Infusion Pharmacy. Her current role focuses on training and education programs for clinicians providing home parenteral nutrition. She is passionate in the areas of safe parenteral nutrition initiation in the home setting and the prevention of refeeding syndrome. Lisa has co-authored publications including abstracts, continuing education articles, a white paper, and has presented posters and educational sessions at national conferences including ASPEN and NHIA. She serves on NHIA’s Education Committee. Lisa received UnitedHealth Group’s Sages of Clinical Services Award in 2019, is a member of the home nutrition support team that was honored with ASPEN’s Clinical Nutrition Team of Distinction Award in 2022, received ASPEN’s HPEN Trailblazer Award in 2023 and became a NHIA Fellow in 2025.

Timothy Walton, MHS, CCRP

Tim Walton is the Clinical Research Director at CSI Pharmacy and has over 30 years of experience in Clinical Operations/Clinical Research/Regulatory Affairs/Real-World Evidence (RWE)/Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR),/Market Access,/Data Quality and Analytics, including 13 years in home infusion/specialty pharmacy. He brings expertise in clinical program execution and evidence generation. He has led traditional, decentralized, and externally controlled clinical trials, overseeing study design, regulatory compliance, monitoring, analysis, data management, and post-marketing activities. His work includes analysis of large RWE and HEOR datasets for payers/providers/key opinion leaders/manufacturers, as well as the development and assessment of Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs). As a subject matter expert across numerous therapeutic areas, he has presented widely at national conferences and contributed multiple peer-reviewed publications. A Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP), he has also developed SOPs and supported quality and compliance programs that uphold rigorous standards in clinical research and home infusion practice.
