This presentation will look at enteral shortages through a homecare lens, discussing the current state of enteral shortages and how that is impacting enteral consumers and providers. You will learn how one homecare provider has approached management of the enteral shortages and discuss strategies for how the healthcare industry can work together to help mitigate enteral consumer impacts in times of product shortages.

Janelle Flaherty (RD, CNSC) has worked in the homecare space for enteral nutrition for 14 years. She is the Manager of the Enteral Dietitian Team who provide care for Coram tube feeding patients. She also helps to manage Coram’s enteral product inventory working closely with distributors and manufacturer partners to evaluate products and manage supply chain changes and challenges.
